Online Data Retention Period

The Online Data Retention Period is the amount of time that App Results will remain accessible in the console for querying, filtering and reporting.

Nearline Data Retention Period

The Nearline Data Retention Period is the amount of time that App Results will remain accessible for reporting through the console. When results are held in near line storage, they are not displayed in the app results view in the console. They will be accessible via the reporting facility.

Archive Data Retention Policy

The Archive Data Retention Period is the amount of time that App Results will be stored in near line storage. Archived App Results are not searchable but are available on request for compliance audits. Archived App Results will be available/included in historical reports when they become available.

Account Status Changes

In addition to the data retention models listed above the following data retention guidelines will also be implemented based on account status changes:

Account State Data Retention Period Data Disposition
Expired Trial 30 Days Account and all data will be deleted from the system
Suspended Account (Non-payment) 60 Days Account and all data will be deleted from the system
Canceled Account 90 Days Account and all data will be deleted from the system

The table above outlines what happens to your data when an account transitions to one of the Account States listed. The data disposition will occur at the interval following the transition into the described state. For example. An Expired Trial will retain its data for 30 days after the trial period has ended. After which time the account and all associated data will be deleted from the system.

Archived Data Access

Customers will be able to access archive data results via a support request. Data will be provided in JSON format and delivered via a compressed archive format (zip).

To request access to archived data send an email to [email protected] and specify the customer names, data ranges and app result types that are required to be retrieved from archive.

Support for automated retrieval and reporting of archive data is on our roadmap and is planned to be available the 2nd half of 2022.

Long Term Retention Periods

Managed SOC Customers that require retention periods longer than 12 months can contact [email protected] to discuss options and pricing for expanding the retention period.
