RocketCyber Extends Managed SOC Platform to Support macOS

macOS Agent Empowers Managed Services Providers to Deliver Heterogenous Threat Monitoring Security Services.

DALLAS, TX – RocketCyber, a Managed SOC platform for managed service providers, today announced the general availability of the new macOS agent, adding to the platform’s existing support for Windows. Coverage for both operating systems is key for MSPs to deliver heterogenous threat monitoring where these operating systems are predominant throughout small-medium businesses.

The continued adoption of Apple devices running macOS across a wide range of small business verticals has made it crucial for managed service providers to employ threat monitoring services providing complete visibility across both Windows and macOS endpoint attack vectors.

The RocketCyber macOS agent is remotely deployable with popular RMM tools, centrally managed, self-updating and consumes minimal CPU resources. The agent is a vehicle for enabling a number of RocketCyber’s purpose-built threat detection apps, identifying malicious activity that evades traditional cyber defenses. Today’s agent release will collect all system artifacts and immediately support the Suspicious Event Log monitoring app.

RocketCyber co-founders Carl Banzhof and Billy Austin will be demonstrating the new macOS agent threat monitoring capabilities at the upcoming events: IoTSSA, January 28 in Houston, TX and at the ASCII IT Summit, February 26 in Long Beach, CA.Availability

The RocketCyber macOS agent is now available and supports Apple’s latest operating system – macOS 10.15 Catalina and 10.14 Mojave.About RocketCyber
